SOUTH FLORIDA GOLD OF THE AMERICAN BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION MOVING ON UP

BOYNTON BEACH, FL - The South Florida Gold of The American Basketball Association are currently ranked #4 in The ABA Power Rankings at  www.abalive.com.
The Gold now enter the final stretch of the season currently 10 - 3, poised to make a run at
The 2014-2015 ABA Championship.
The Gold will have to make this run without three of their top contributors Shedrick Haynes, Mike Pugh and Chris Watson who recently signed contracts to move onto the next level, both locally and overseas. The goal of The South Florida Gold is to provide a platform for players to showcase their skills so that they can move on to the next level while also providing the community with a high quality brand of basketball.
The South Florida Gold will also see a coaching change as Coach Ken Mitchell has stepped down and decided to pursue other options.
The South Florida Gold thanks Shedrick Haynes, Mike Pugh, Chris Watson, and Ken Mitchell for all of their hard work and dedication and wishes them the Best of Luck and Much Success with their new opportunities.
