South Florida Gold of the American Basketball Association continues its process of building a Championship TEAM. Michale and Lori Watson began by selecting Ken Mitchell as the Head Coach. Next was signing a few choice returnees from last seasons inaugural winning team, a few members of the staff were added and then tryout camps. We are now entering our third tryout camp and last as we add some of the top professional prospects to our roster. Many of the top Basketballers in the nation want to play for the South Florida Gold as the Watsons' have built a quick reputation for consistency, a winning attitude, and the belief that a TEAM begins with them, they have no I in what they do, its always been us, we, all.
Some of the Players who may be on hand include Marquis Mathis, who last week was selected as the Most Valuable Player of the Tampa NBA combine, Renardo Sidney, Shed Haynes and Scott Draughn, Six Freeman and Freddie Brown who played for the South Florida Gold last year.
